For more than 78 years now of sharing and providing quality education; formal and inclusive, Padre Zamora Elementary School enthusiastically moving to a greater height of success. As the beloved institution celebrated this year’s Graduation Exercises, the school is bound, decisive and purposeful in producing competitive and quality graduates as it aligned to its mantra “ UNA ANG ZAMORA!”
PZES finally concluded the school year 2017-2018 with the theme: “Mag-aaral ng K to 12: Handan a sa Hamon ng Buhay” at the PZES covered court, April 3, 2018, at 3 o’clock in the afternoon.
The ceremonial rites started with the entrance of colours led by the Boy Scout of Philippines of Padre Zamora Elementary School followed by processional of the graduates, together with their parents, barangay officials, GPTA Officers, Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff, Visitors and the Guest Speaker.
Mr. Ivan D. Grulla officially opened the ceremonial rites by leading the graduates, as he conducted the National Anthem, Prayer “We Are One”, the Pasay Hymn and the Opening Song of the Graduates: “The Journey of our Dreams.”
Miss Eden E. Dioquino, Elementary School Principal II of Padre Zamora Elementary School, presented the candidates for graduation, who were also accepted and confirmed by the School Division Superintendent represented by Miss Ma. Jessica S. Magayanes, Public School District Supervisor, Cluster 2 respectively.
As the program progressed, the graduates received their diplomas and awards. Furthermore, Anne Kathleen B. Ranido, With Highest Honors” delivered her words of gratitude, followed by the reading of secretary’s message by Miss Ma. Jessica S. Magayanes, PSDS, Cluster 2.
The introduction to the guest speaker was done by Ms. Eden E. Dioquino, ESP II. The Honourable Cong. Imelda Calixto-Rubiano was the guest speaker of the occasion. The honourable congresswoman delivered her message to the graduates, parents and teachers.
In addition, Steven Gabriel D. Cabundocan, With High Honours led the Pledge of Loyalty of the graduates followed by the singing of the Alma Mater Song “ School in My Heart’ and their final song “ Sintang Paaralan.”
After all the pains, hardships and sacrifices, the graduates finally left their Alma Mater with all their experiences and learnings with the help of their teachers who moulded them for years. They will now be more purposeful, determined and decisive to be a competitive citizen of this country.
Mr. Michael E. Bertos and Miss Sarah B. Calatayud were the masters of the ceremonies.
